Glad we stopped - May 20, noon. Excellent brisket in all measures, delicious sauce and chipotle potato salad. I'd like to get back enough to try the whole menu! And I look forward to enough tries to give you the stars you deserve!
For what it's worth, we followed Texas 16 south, eventually making it to Leakey over the next couple of days and never had better than we had it at the Ranch House - thanks!

My girlfriend's family used to own a steakhouse/bbq joint, and for her to say that it's some of the best bbq she's ever had really says something about the quality of food they produce, not to mention the service is always EXCELLENT and the folks are extremely friendly every time we come in. Ranch House, you definitely have life long customers in us. Thank you so much for the amazing food and service every time we visit! Keep it up.

E-mail: jayniejo@comcast.net 		For years we have wanted to try the Ranch House BBQ. Today, for Easter, we called ahead, made a reservation, and everything we ordered was fabulous! No way to describe the wonderful aromas, flavors, and perfect texture of everything. Not only that, but we each brought boxes home so we will have still more meals in the next day or two from our leftovers. Best of all, owner/pit master Amy Anderson came out and spent time with us at our table. She talked with us, hugged us, and kissed us, too. What an amazing dynamo! It was such a pleasure and an honor to get to meet her. Our 'brush with greatness'... I don't think I've ever met a 'world champion' anything in my lifetime -- until today.

When we got their on a Sat but your place was crowded but we made a reservation on Sun and when we got our food,we are so satisfied that we just smile and continued eating. We even ordered a to-go and the drive was so worth it. The next day I was bragging it to all my friends and we found someone to cater for our next events. We will definately going to keep coming back. Great job to everyone
